Considered by many to be the flagship variety of Romania, Feteasca Neagră appeared relatively recently in the Segarcea vineyard, but with amazing results, as evidenced by this wine which, even from the first harvests, managed to win gold medals at the China Wine Awards, in 2012 and silver in 2010 (Decanter World Wine Awards) and 2011 (Vinalies Internationales).
It is a round, integrated, elegant wine, with a clear fruit-dominated onset, which then layers, revealing a strong tannin structure doubled by notes of jam, wood and vanilla.
